The picturesque Samburu Game reserve is our stop for this 3 day safari. This reserve is home to the special five namely reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, gerenuk, Somali ostrich and beisa oryx. It was here that the two conservationists raised Elsa the lioness. This park is also a bird watchers paradise.

Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu
Drive through the Great rift valley with a brief stopover as we head for Samburu Game Reserve, the semi arid region of the nomadic Samburu people. Upon arrival check in to your Lodge/camp for lunch and short relaxation. Later proceed for an afternoon game drive after lunch where we will get to spot the only wildlife found here in Samburu. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp.

Day 2: Full Day Samburu
This entire day is dedicated to game viewing. Spent a full day at Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. Rest of day at leisure. Samburu Game Reserve, which covers about 104 square kilometers. Ololokwe Table Mountain forms a gorgeous backdrop during our game viewing. Samburu is also home to the third of Kenya’s giraffe species – the rare Reticulated Giraffe (only found in the Northern parks). This is also where you see the blue-legged Somali Ostrich, the long-necked Gerenuk gazelle and the straight-horned Beisa Oryx antelope. Overnight at the Lodge/Camp.

Day 3: Samburu – Nairobi
After a relaxed buffet breakfast, you will leave Samburu for a scenic drive to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi we shall transfer your residency. This marks the end of the safari.
